I don't know about anyone else but it would help me tremendously if the post
that an answer is connected to is included in the answer. I don't even
remember seeing a recent post from this board on 'roaming arthritis'.
Thanks.

Shmuel -
History - My patient has this type of arthritis for approx 12 months, she came to me approx 5 months ago for 6 weeks and has come back 4 weeks ago for a weekly session. She stopped taking painkillers and steroids as her hair was getting brittle and had some stomach issues. Her tongue is predominantly red, peeled, more so around the heart area. Her pulse is full and rapid in the lung area (she smokes 15 cigarettes a day) all other areas show rapid and weak. Her complexion etc is normal. The roaming arthritis seems to have settled in her extremities (feet/hands) and the pain is 7/10.
I hope this helps.

A weekly session is obviously too little for her condition. She should be coming to you 3 times a week. If she can't, I recommend that you give her this prescription in powder-capsule form. It is an excellent formula for this condition:

Sheng di huang......................... 10 gr

Qing feng teng........................... 10

Sang ji sheng............................. 15

Xi xian cao................................. 10

Jiang can................................... 10

Fang feng................................... 10

Luo shi teng............................... 10

Let her take 4 capsules 2-3 times daily and keep coming for her weekly acupuncture session. When she feels better, you may reduce the capsules to once daily.
Hear back.
