my wife has been diagnosed fibromyalgia by a rheumatolgist
how tcm considers and treats it, what are the origines ?
could the pratice of lian gong do any good to my wife ? any other sugestions regarding preventive exercises ?
2nd question
i have been offered a acu soft laser, operating with a wavelength of 635nm belongs to the laser protection class 3a, visible laser radiation and variable laser beam
is such an instrument of any use for a treatment of fibromyalgia or any other treatments
, where the pacient does not want to be treated with acupuncture needles

Hi. Fibromyalgia can be definitely treated by Ch.med (herbs and/or acupuncture) usually with substantial success, depending on the practitioner's skill. Here is a link that may help you understand the various facets of this syndrome as viewed by TCM:

As for laser therapy, in my experience the effect is much inferior to this of plain traditional needles.
