Dr. Halevi,
Do you know of anything specifically for removing 'stasis'.
I enjoyed your web page and am a firm believer in alternative medicine.
Any information you can give me will certainly be appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,

Hello A.N. In fact Chinese medicine in its whole is centered around this medical concept of removing stasis. In most cases, illness, pain and even imbalanced emotions are considered "stasis", or stagnation of Qi, blood or fluid in the body and the meridians. In fact, T.C.M. terminology refers to "stasis" of blood, or fluids, whilst the Qi concept bears the terminology of stagnation. Both, however, imply a retarded circulation or movement due to various causes. If your question refers to "blood stasis", Chinese medicine offers acupuncture in order to disperse it, or herbs or even blood cupping (see the post above). Each technique must be administered in relevance to the character of the stasis after the diagnosis has been made. Hope this answers your question.
