Is it necessary to make needling symmetrically on both sdes of body in order to get appropriate results ?
Or it's enough to do acupuncture on one acupoint in one side?

It deepens on the circumstances... If someone has a problem on one side of the body, e.g. facial paralysis, hemorrhage in fundus of the eye, etc., I usually use points only on the afflicted side. However, if I find that this person is in need of a general kidney Qi strengthening, I incorporate point K-3 on both sides. Generally speaking, when a systemic balance or treatment is needed, use bilateral points.
