would any studies on ancient Chinese medical books and their medical terminologies(mainly those related with acupuncture points), be of any help nowadays?

Of course. Many of the procedures discussed in ancient books, acupuncture and herbs alike, are being applied even today and even quoted and discussed by scholars of our time. Nonetheless, there have also been many new approaches and treatment styles invented or discovered in modern era, even some new acupuncture points, and/or meridians... Still, those ancient books, even as far as the Huang Di Nei Jing, form the accepted basis and understanding (as much as the bible does in terms of religion) of modern acupuncture. |

After a long-time research study on ancient Chinese medical texts, I completed the lists of the acupoints, that were known in antiquity. Anybody interested in having them published, is kindly invited to offer me a space where to publish the results of my efforts. |

I found the way how to web-publish the results of my studies on the acupuncture points, that were known in the Chinese antiquity(as they are found in ancient Chinese medical texts). A first section of my research into the ancient acupuncture points is now available on Google.docs. The title is: "The Yuan-source points-LS". The occurrences of five Yin-Zang points and of six Yang-Fu points in Ling shu are given, with their chapters and quotes in Chinese. Other ancient works have been analysed: Su Wen, Nan Jing, Tai Su, (Zhen Jiu)Jia Yi Jing, (Bei Ji) Qian Jin Yao Fang, Lei Jing, Zhen Jiu Da Cheng. Other categories of points were also analysed. The results will be available step by step to all those interested in reading them.

Ancient medical books
